At the heart of any good pub is good beer. We’re a Siren Craft Brew Country Pub, and so our beer comes fresh from the brewery, just down the road. We also love wine, spirits and coffee and work with local suppliers for the very best on offer.
Siren Craft Brew
Siren is a modern, independent brewery based a stones throw away in Finchampstead. It is recognised as one of the Top 100 Breweries in in the world by Ratebeer.com, and is a winner of the coveted CAMRA Supreme Champion Beer of Britain with Broken Dream Breakfast Stout. Siren’s beers are served all around the world, but nowhere fresher than at the George & Dragon, Swallowfield.
Lumina - 4.2% Session IPA
Lumina is the shining light of Siren Craft Brew’s flagship range. at just 4.2% it’s a light, easy drinking hoppy session IPA, full of flavour. It’s also Vegan and Gluten Free, so everyone can enjoy it!
Broken Dream - 6.5% Breakfast Stout
Our Flagship stout is loaded with oats and coffee, and the selection of incredible malts give a deep, rich flavour profile. It’s a previous CAMRA Supreme Champion Beer of Britain winner and superb whatever the weather!
Soundwave - 5.6% Flagship IPA
Along with Broken Dream, Soundwave has been around since day one at Siren. It was many people’s entry into the craft beer scene, and remains a popular favourite around the world. Drink it fresh here!
We also serve a host of pub favourites like Peroni, as well as other local guest ales and Siren Craft Brew specials. Tell your barperson your favourite styles and they will talk you through the offering!
Henley Distillery
One of many local suppliers, We work with Henley Distillery to bring you locally crafted, small-batch spirits made with care and attention to flavour. Based in Henley-on-Thames, they focus on producing bold, characterful spirits that reflect quality and craftsmanship. Their approach fits perfectly with our pub philosophy — supporting local producers and serving drinks that are thoughtfully made.
Milton Sandford Wine
Our wine selection comes from Milton Sandford Wines, who store their exclusive bottles in traditional wine caves right here in Berkshire. They don’t offer anything you’ll find in the supermarket — every wine is chosen for its quality, character and rarity. At The George & Dragon, we use a Verre De Vin system, so we can serve almost any of these exceptional wines by the glass. Keep an eye out for our Wine Pairing events, where we showcase these unique bottles alongside the best of our seasonal food.
